This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Midland is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Midland follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Delicious food omg!!! I loveeeeed everything. I had chicken byriani. The lamb curry was also delicious. Garlic naan was a 10/10 as always. The mango chicken is delicious as well. Mango rasmalai was incredible! I felt like Anton Ego from Ratatouille when he first tried that dish.

This was my first time trying this kind of food and I was very surprised on how good it was. You have 3 choices on heat level and I prefer the medium for myself. Service was good and we got our food in under 10 minutes. Overall great place to try something new.

Quite yummy! I got lamb tikka masala. I think the flavor was more for white people but it was still delicious. Service is friendly .

I ordered the samosas and the garlic naan and couldn’t be happier. They give you a brown sauce that’s kind of sweet kind of spicy and a green sauce that’s also very good. The garlic naan definitely tastes very fresh. The staff couldn’t have been nicer more helpful. Next time I come I’m definitely going to get the butter chicken. This is the first time I’ve had Indian food and the reviews are right. It’s good. I came back the next month and ordered the butter chicken and of course the garlic naan again. It is amazing as well!

Pista Express is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants on the entire I-20 stretch! Every time I’m driving cross-country, this is one of my go-to stops. The food is always delicious, fresh, and satisfying. My favorites are the biryani, garlic naan, goat and chicken curryβ€”perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and generous in portions. What really makes this place stand out is not just the food, but the amazing customer service. On one occasion, I checked into my hotel very late, close to 11 p.m., and even though the restaurant closes around 9–9:30 p.m., the hotel manager, Mr. Godly, went above and beyond by holding my delivery at the door and personally handing it over to me. That kind of extra effort for customers really shows the heart behind this place. The restaurant itself is clean, well-kept, and conveniently located inside a hotel, making it an easy and safe stop during long drives. Every visit reminds me why this is one of my favorite Indian spots in America. I only wish I had the chance to try more of their menu because everything I’ve had so far has been outstanding. If you’re ever driving through Midland or along I-20, do yourself a favor and stop at Pista Express. Whe
